As an exhibitor for both years, I didn’t think it could get any better, but this year it did! Amazing exhibits, amazing coordination with everyone and amazing for the exhibitors as well as the attendees. Many told me that they didn’t know about it last year but so excited and thrilled to be here this year. To have all the amazing artists and their creations under one roof can’t be anything but a success! Dee Kirkham Exhibitor, Independent Studio The 2024 RTIA Show has been one of the most inspiring shows I have participated in. It was so well run that it was a pleasure to participate. Looking forward to next year! Jay Stargaard Exhibitor I like how the show was set up- some art and classic cars at the front and then once you're inside, it's like a maze of beauty. I did try hard to make sure I got to see everything. I thought having the beverage tables throughout- some coffee, some cocktails- was a wonderful addition, kept patrons there longer, and gave the gallery more life along with good smells from the coffee. Great job! Attendee This was such an incredible event! Unbelievably inspiring to see so many artists showing what they can do in one location. It felt like an event at a bigger city, in the best way. It was shockingly kid-friendly, and it was a beautiful thing to take my little ones to see the amazing talent and skill, then actually meet the artists behind the works they loved. A stupendous event. Topher S. Attendee We were so impressive by the show. Meeting the artists was the best part. Seeing their passion and hearing their stories made the experience even more memorable. It was such a diverse and a beautiful crowd and I loved seeing the tiniest pieces all the way to the gigantic dragons. I also loved the immersive aspect of the show. Kelly Stangel Attendee The RTIA exhibit was or surprisingly high quality, and I enjoyed the variety of work, talking to artists, and methods I had not seen before. I will attend next time and invite friends. Teresa P. Attendee The show really showcases all aspects of art. Well thought out flow of artists and attendees. Helping all ages to be excited about the art experience. Reno has added the advantage for bringing local and international artists. Julia Anna Buxton Attendee I took my kids and they loved it. They especially appreciated the moving Post Playa sculptures and interactive booths. Their favorite was Simon the Turtle, but even getting a free polished rock from one artist was welcomed and made the event come to life with real artist interactions. Wonderful event that really adds to Reno's profile and cultural scene. Lydia Poon Attendee Excited to see so many talented local artists, enjoyed the variety, was surprised to get to talk with so many of the artists, music and beer tastings made for such an enjoyable atmosphere. Amy C. Attendee As a Native Indigenous Artist, I'm honored to be part of the RTIA Show. The Producers have shown they believe that indigenous Art is important and must be recognized as Fine Art. Thankful RTIA provides another opportunity to exhibit and sell Native Art. Ron Chee Exhibitor, FNIP RTIA Show is a highly organized event. Great location and great art! We liked how the independent artists were in the same space as the galleries. The setup reminded us of the high end gallery. Great job. Susan Handau Exhibitor, Independent Artist It was a huge improvement from the first year. I am fully invested in it's big picture plan in reaching it's highest and best year after year. From their consistent and thorough communication and exquisite production value to their wealth and relationship building the Reno Tahoe International Art Show continues to create a World Class Event that will exponentially ignite the lives of thousands for years to come! Scott Forest Scott Forest Gallery, Tahoe, CA The quality of support and organization for this show was exceptional. High quality advertising and social media engagement. Excellent communication at every point. Large and diverse group of participating artists and strong attendance. Steven Whyte Steven Whyte Studios, Carmel by the Sea, CA I found it both exciting and interesting on many levels. It truly was an experience to meet so many people who have a passion for art. I am back in my studio now and find myself excited about the many new ideas and plans that I am formulating for future artwork. Thank you so much for this opportunity. Nancy Good Core Contemporary Gallery, Las Vegas NV I thought the event was very well-done, and the organizers were incredibly hands-on throughout the show. I would definitely recommend RTIA to local artists as an effective way to connect to collectors and the artists' community. Bravo on a successful 2023 event! I'm looking forward to participating again next year. Beck Baumann Exhibitor, Independent Studio How often do you have the opportunity to view world class art in Reno? The Reno Tahoe International Art Show showcases world class art and sculpture from around the nation. In addition to the world-class art, they Spotlight our local and regional artists. Everything is elevated with an event like the Reno Tahoe International Art Show. Reno has taken a giant step forward into the world of fine art exhibits. It truly can be a destinations location for people seeking an elevated art experience. Rosemary Wood Pacific Crest Gallery, Tahoe CA Attending this show was such a delight! I particularly enjoyed that the show took place shortly after Burning Man and provided me with the opportunity to engage with playa pieces that I missed and re-engage with pieces I did see. Thank you for bringing more art to Reno. Jeanna Adams Attendee Thank you Reno/Tahoe for welcoming us and our ceramic sculpture with open arms. We had an amazing weekend. Can't wait to come back next year! Alan Potter Exhibitor, Sculptor First I want to say that the overall layout and flow of the show was great. The music was wonderful and so were the additional vendors like Coffeebar. Rossitza Todorova Exhibitor, Independent Studio The RTIA Show is a hidden gem within the Western U.S. I am grateful to have the opportunity to showcase my artworks among the expansive talents of the region and to meet new artists and Galleries at the event. Jennifer Hartnett Exhibitor An impressive gathering of talented local, regional, national and international artists and arts representatives, which presents a unique opportunity to connect and discovery art in an accessible, friendly and creative setting in our exclusively beautiful Reno-Tahoe area. Highly recommend being a part of this! Zoe Bray Exhibitor Kevin and Briana did an excellent job with the curation of the art... which was phenomenal! I was inspired by the rich spirit of community and support among artists as well as patrons. It was a great show! Terrie Bennett Carmel-by-the-Sea The Art City Invitationals is a good concept to help increase visibility for regional galleries and for local artists to connect with galleries outside of the general Reno-Tahoe area. Diane Chung Chung 24 Gallery I can’t thank you enough for everything. The show was amazing, and I loved where You placed my showcase. It couldn't have been any better. I look forward to next year. Ted Demolski Glass Sculptor Thank you all so much for ALL the hard work, planning, and time that you continue to put into making the RTIA my favorite event of the year! Nicole King Adornment by Nicole I love this show!!! As a community, we need to support this type of event that provides a showcase for local and all artists!!!!!!! Margaret K. Attendee We've done many fairs over the years and have rarely seen more than a single member of the show team make such effort, much less the entire team. Randy Slavin Winn Slavin Gallery What a beautiful fair! The art is incredible, and representative of the globe. The included sculptures from Burning Man were a hit, huge and magnificent. RTIA is a world class event, and I look forward to seeing it continue to bloom and grow. Watch out Miami Art Week! Alison Price Exhibitor I've attended both years and it's been different in scale and scope. It's a spectacular event. I plan to attend every year. Cheryl J. Attendee The RTIA Show is hands down, my favorite local arts event. I love seeing how it grows and evolves every year, and I'm looking forward to next year! Beck Baumann Exhibitor Briana and Kevin have provided an incredible value to the arts community through the RTIA Show and RTA Awards. Thank you for a well-organized event! Jenny Snaza Exhibitor The RTIA Show is a beautiful expression of community through art and art appreciation. The experience of being an exhibitor at this show is truly soul filling. To be surrounded by other artists for 4 days is deeply rooting and affirming as an artist in this community. I always leave with new inspiration and joy that last for weeks and even into the following year. Nicole King Exhibitor As an exhibitor of the Basque panel at the RTIA Show, I can confidently say it was a truly remarkable venture. It was a privilege to be part of an initiative that not only celebrated Basque art but also highlighted the cultural and historical connections between the Basque diaspora and the Western United States. A truly enriching experience! Xabier Irujo Exhibitor Beautiful and spacious show. Exhibitors were welcoming, and engaging, and we never felt they were pushing a sale. This allowed us to just enjoy the beautiful art. We will attend again next year. Maureen R. Attendee Wow, it gets better every year. The number of artists was very impressive and the variety is fantastic, from very high and expensive art to local pieces from talented artists. I liked having it all together rather than separated like it has been in the past. Great Show!! Thanks Kevin and Briana! Our Story DESTINATION ART FAIR OF THE WEST The Reno Tahoe International Art Show was created by Kevin O’Keefe and partner/ daughter Briana Dolan as the platform to position Reno as a nationally recognized arts and cultural center. Geographically stunning, Reno Tahoe is home to hundreds of talented fine artists and many thousands of art collectors and buyers- with thousands of new affluent residents arriving every month. In the past three years the population has doubled, +$8 Billion in luxury real estate has been acquired, built or redesigned. Having launched 36 major events in 10 countries (all have substantially grown) Kevin wanted to design a better way to show and sell fine art. Engaged with the art world for years as a result of building the largest design event in the Americas, International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in Manhattan and NYCxDesign, the 400,000-person citywide, the goal was to create an elegant but welcoming and inclusive fine art fair. Briana, at the time a successful marketing executive for NYC-based Tihany Design, the leading luxury space designer in the world, aimed to launch a fun, comfortable art fair that would be unique to the region and a place that collectors, art buyers and art lovers of all ages could enjoy and look forward to every year. Memorable hospitality, audience engagement and diversity of art mediums, style and tastes have remained defining factors in the development of the event. Key in the planning was avoiding the redundancy in galleries and artists exhibited in the handful of fine art shows running in the US and Europe. Briana and Kevin wanted the exhibition they made to be major, unique and diverse. Thousands of artworks in all mediums could be purchased from $500 to $500,000. Buyers would find better selected galleries from around the nation and the world, the best in Native American art, extensive art city pavilions, sculptors, studios and independents from everywhere and significant curated pieces from Burning Man, the world’s largest event for cultural expression. To make the show even more elegant and audience friendly, film, music and drama were added to the show floor and on stage. The new model is working. The RTIA Show has doubled in size, audience and art sold every year. The third edition – which took place during an 8,000-acre fire and state of emergency - featured 160,000’ of exhibition space, 326 exhibitors from 22 countries 4,750 buyers from 28 states and nine countries who bought hundreds of thousands of dollars in art every day. In less than three years, the event expanded to be the fastest growing fine art fair in North America and the largest indoor sculptural event in the nation. In 2025, RTIA Show aims at an even more curated exhibition of what is best in contemporary fine art, design, sculpture and Native American art- plus onsite musical talent, Oscar award winning short films screenings, theatrical performances, artist workshops- and the amazing features developed and defined by RTIA since the inaugural show. We hope to see you there! Kevin & Bri Watch 2025 Recap Video RTIA Stories Now entering its fourth edition, the Reno Tahoe International Art Show is the anchoring event for Peaks Art Fairs.
